After I terminated all non-essential communication following a threatening sexual advance in the rental office, the property manager sent three months of unsolicited grooming text messages to my personal phone, without permission and irrespective of never receiving a response before stopping the false charming facade & attacking me with overt violence.

Newmann stole my grill while it was still hot the first night I use it, then parked his truck across from my bedroom window, flipped the grill upside down on the roof, and only took it down to beat outside my window, humiliating & intimidating me in front of tenants, making loud threats that I shouldn’t touch his truck or anything on it, continuing from summer into fall 2024.

After I ignored Newmann’s sexual advances, refusal to complete repairs, inappropriate text, and acts of property theft and vandalism following an incident where he was forced to move his truck, he escalated his harassment. Entering the building, Newmann used his postal master key to stuff my mailbox with newspapers and left handwritten notes — including one that insinuated a lease violation for removing the newspapers. When I told him to stop, he issued an eviction—the same day.

Since being asked not to use his master key to handle my mail due to my participation in the Address Confidentiality Program at the start of tenancy, Newmann repeatedly scratches my name off the mailbox, uses his key to open my mail, and steal financial, personal, and business correspondence. He also stopped my mail delivery for several months with post masters assistance and took the passwords to my internet router.

Newmann escalated his harassment from the mailbox area to coming upstairs to my apartment door, placing a bag filled with German cockroaches crawling in newspaper on my external doorknob. When I opened the door, the bag swung into the apartment and roaches fell from the bag into my unit, common area threshold, and entry closet.

Newmann escalated his harassment by moving from my front door to entering inside my locked unit while I was asleep. He staged a police break in, claiming "he hadn't seen or heard from me in a while." The police directed me to call a random number to find out who requested the false wellness check, the trauma of that break-in led to six months of complete medical nonfunction.

Newmann gave my phone number to his girlfriend and residential invitee, Sarah, who stalked me with unsolicited calls, texts, and visits. I ignored her for 8 weeks until she assaulted me for not responding. After an animal control call, she returned for 4 more weeks, leading to a confrontation.

When I saw the management team of Rick Newmann, Anthony Anderson, who rented to me and their intoxicated girlfriends Sarah and Sandra Doe, in their natural element at the rental office, I immediately declined the renovated unit above them that I had previously contracted for, wanting to avoid any social contact with them. The property charged me the renovated rate for an un-renovated unit, knowing I had no option. IDK if Newmann or the owner pockets the extra $50 a month, but it’s the equivalent of utility or pet rent, and I don’t have pets. All this, just to be stalked and harassed by management and their girlfriends anyway.
